My work is textile-based, using mainly African fabrics.
I make what I call “Fabric Pictures” on foam board, a technique originally from France, and now focus mainly on two subjects: African women and animals.
I have developed a passion for African fabrics and have been collecting fabrics from different origins. I find the vibrant colours and imaginative patterns fascinating.
Inspired by my collection of fabrics, I designed colourful fashion accessories: necklaces, earrings, scarves and bags. They give a bright ethnic touch to outfits.
