Sewing me Sewing you

Sewing Me Sewing You is a shop borne out of a love of all things creative.
We stock fabrics, patterns, yarn, haberdashery and offer a variety of classes which explore the use of textiles and yarn incorporating both old and new techniques.
Our first year at The Big Textile Show will be a great way to bring our shop to a larger audience and on our stall you’ll flip out over the fabrics, yearn over the yarn and be happy with the haberdashery. You can also catch us demonstrating a variety of classes that we put on at the shop including arm knitting your own blanket, sewing a zipped make-up bag, printing using polystyrene tiles, dry needle felting, crochet and weaving.

Painting The Town

beer london

I love paint and I love textiles and I combine the two in my art work.
I hand paint all my fabric, then applique and print the finer details onto the design, it is then embellished with machine stitch. Each piece is individually designed,
I create work that is flexible – able to change location as the mood takes you!
To that end each piece is self supporting. They do not require frames – can be either free standing or wall mounted – manipulated into a shape or hung “flat”
As well as my “ready made” art works I sell a variety of kits priced from £10 – £25, they are ready for you to construct and stitch to create your own art work . I also sell pieces of fabric for you to use to bring your own projects to life.
